The Cortijo del Fraile is a now dilapidated old farmhouse outside of Los Albaricoques in Nijar county by Almería. It served as the backdrop to a memorable scene in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The history of this site inspired the Blood Wedding story. The property has recently been acquired by local or regional government and is aboutto be preserved, hopefully this will attract more visitors.
