The music video for “Posta”, one ofTini Stoessel’s most personal and powerful releases, turns Talavera de la Reina into a setting rich in symbolism. The chosen location, the Reina Sofía Bridge, is far more than a visual backdrop: it is a modern structure that represents transition, connection, and forward motion—ideas that resonate deeply with the song’s message.

Opened in 1994, the Reina Sofía Bridge spans the Tagus River, linking different areas of the city and easing traffic through Talavera’s historic center. Its contemporary, functional design—defined by clean lines and a wide roadway—has made it one of the city’s most recognizable urban landmarks. Free from decorative excess, the bridge’s sober aesthetic becomes strikingly cinematic in the video.

In Posta, Tini walks across the bridge during both daylight and nighttime. By day, the structure appears open and direct; by night, the streetlights and urban illumination create an intimate atmosphere that mirrors the emotional weight of the song. Each step forward reinforces the idea of crossing a threshold, leaving the past behind, and continuing on one’s own terms.

The track, part of her album Un mechón de pelo, serves as a clear response to the criticism and public pressure that have shaped the artist’s career. Choosing a bridge as the central setting is no coincidence—it is a place of passage and decision, not of permanence.

Filming required the full closure of the bridge for an entire day, drawing significant local attention and placing Talavera de la Reina in the international spotlight. Thanks to Tini’s global reach, the city—often known as the “City of Ceramics”—was projected to audiences worldwide from a contemporary and emotionally resonant perspective.

Today, the Reina Sofía Bridge connects not only the banks of the Tagus River, but also music, identity, and collective memory.

Un hermoso puente desconocido para la mayoria

02/01/2026
