This setting became a key location for the storyline, revealing one of the most important secrets of the plot: the true origins of Jon Snow.
Nestled in the lonely Sierra de Caldereros in Guadalajara, the castle stands in a remote, desolate landscape characterized by cold winters and persistent winds. Though considered one of the most beautiful and lesser-known castles in Spain, its popularity soared after appearing in the sixth season of the successful HBO series. This location was chosen for its isolated atmosphere and austere beauty, which perfectly captured the essence of the mysterious and mystical world of Westeros.
